Domestic Violence Transitional Housing
Survivors of domestic violence struggle to find safe and affordable housing when they choose to leave their abuser. Safe housing is essential for an individual seeking freedom, but victims often face numerous barriers to housing.
The Helen Ross McNabb Foundation is launching a capital foundation campaign in support of new and expanded transitional housing for individuals escaping a domestic violence situation. Funds raised for transitional housing will be designated to constructing and operating these apartments in Knox County. The goal of the campaign is to raise $4,000,000, which will complete construction on the project.
